Technology Shapes Trust
Most technology becomes invisible when it’s working. But people notice when information is hard to find, systems don’t connect, or experiences create more questions than answers.
Our role is helping people find what matters and interact with it more naturally — improving AI visibility behind the scenes while creating digital experiences that feel more useful, intuitive, and human.

Digital Experiences We Create
Technology That Respects People’s Feelings
People remember how things make them feel. If they perceive that any given technology isn’t helping them achieve their desired goals, they will feel that and move on.
01
More Isn’t Always Better
Technology moves quickly. Our first question usually isn’t “What should we add?” It’s “What’s already working, and what’s getting in the way?”
02
Moments Made For Discovery
We believe digital experiences that build trust and guide people towards meaningful action are essential.
03
Search Is Becoming A Conversation
People now use technology as a companion for communication. AI summaries and chatbots help turn navigating unfamiliar links and sites into a feeling of a trusted friend sharing the answer you need. Our role is to ensure the right information about you is findable, so that friend references you in their answers.
04
Trust Is Earned In The Experience
Your brand technology is the face of your digital strategy. People are deciding in seconds if a brand feels trustworthy and something they want to learn more about. That means UX is critical to help your customers feel that trust from the moment they first experience your brand.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why do so many websites struggle to perform?
Maintaining a website over time takes work. Your marketing strategies change over time, and your website and digital strategy might not move along with them. After that begins, the chase starts and the strategy rarely ever catches up. That leaves you with a site that doesn’t reflect your brand or marketing goals. Our approach is different – think of your website as a living, breathing representation of those marketing goals, and work actively over time to keep them aligned.
How has SEO changed with AI?
Search is once again undergoing an extreme transformation similar to what we first saw in the original dot com boom. How people are getting information has been turned on its head with the inclusion of AI summaries in search results. Google has declared the 10 blue links to be dead, and so the new chase is being included in AI summaries above the fold. How that happens is fundamentally the same in many ways as it has always been, but the focus leans more heavily into the struggle of just who you are building sites for – robots or humans? We say both, but you have to speak to each audience in their own manner to succeed.
How do you know when it’s time to invest in new technology?
Your technology should always stay aligned to your marketing strategy. If your website or other platforms that represent your brand are not in lockstep with your marketing goals, then you need to invest in approaches to realign them. This can sometimes be as drastic as a rebuild or restart, or it can be a different, more incremental approach to get them back in sync.
What’s the difference between having a website and having a digital strategy?
A website is one part of the experience. A digital strategy considers how people discover information, interact with content, move through a journey, and engage with a brand over time throughout the digital ecosystem. The goal isn’t simply building a website. It’s creating a connected experience that works together.
How does KHM approach technology different?
We see technology as a tool and a service for your users to utilize to learn about you and your brand. The end to the means approach helps us correctly evaluate any technology to see if it’s successfully performing the correct task. Meeting the needs of the user while also meeting the needs of the business requires understanding both, which is why our approach is grounded in research from every angle. If a solution isn’t delivering for either audience, we don’t suffer the sunk cost fallacy — we find a better path forward.
