In a crowded marketing landscape with individuals experiencing 6,000 – 10,000 ads in a single day, it is more important than ever for brands to find a way to develop a true, authentic connection with their audience. But how do we move past simply showing consumers your product, to having them experience it, hands-on, for themselves?
Our Brand Experience team specializes in creating moments through experiential marketing that move your audience from simple awareness, to the kind of trust that builds brand loyalty. From immersive destination brand activations to local consumer awareness campaigns, our team has brought brands to life for key markets across the nation.
Imagine stepping through a doorway and being transported from the heart of Denver, CO, to the unique beauty of the Swiss Alps instantly. That’s exactly what the KHM team coordinated in partnership with the Denver International Airport. To help reinvigorate the Denver to Zurich route, our team invited local travel agents and content creators to an interactive activation, “Chalet Chic,” for an authentically Swiss experience.
From imported chocolate, wine and cheese, to Swiss Alphorn music, a yodeling workshop, and even Burmese Mountain Dogs, the team put together a one-of-a-kind brand activation that gave these travel experts a look at, taste of, and feel for what a Swiss summer has to offer.

Always seeking a creative approach to the often dreaded topic of air travel, we partnered with the Denver International Airport to create an experiential marketing moment that gave passengers a chance for relaxation and cheer among the hustle and bustle of holiday travel. The team created the Den Zen Room, a place for respite during layovers and memorable moments travelers would bring with them on their journeys. The most popular installations in the Den Zen room include goat yoga and sports trivia with local legend, Peyton Manning.

When Power Ahead Colorado needed help promoting Heat Pump Week and awareness around how heat pumps can serve as a cleaner option to heat and cool homes or businesses, they turned to our experiential marketing team. At this marketing event example, KHM was able to take over a Colorado Rockies game, putting Power Ahead Colorado in front of the captive audience at Coors Field, a capacity of nearly 50,000.
The team was able to create experiences pre, during, and post-game that encouraged the audience to connect with Power Ahead Colorado and their Heat Pump Week messaging. From a pre-game interactive activation kiosk and throwing the first pitch to Jumbotron visibility and an installation in McGregor Square, game attendees were able to build trust with Power Ahead Colorado and engagement with their messaging and initiatives.

With a deep history in tourism marketing, our team knows that it’s not just about what a destination has to offer; it’s how a place makes you feel that makes a traveler take the final step of booking, as well as come back year after year. It is that inspiring feeling that our team brings to each and every brand activation we craft.
For Visit Tampa Bay, the goal wasn’t to attract MORE attention, but to connect with the right audience of high-value travelers who stay longer and do more, increasing economic impact while decreasing environmental and infrastructure impact on the destination. With thorough audience research, our team determined that targeting culinary-loving South Beach, Miami, residents would put Visit Tampa Bay in front of a high-value audience with interest in what VTB has to offer.
Our team embarked on creating an interactive activation at the South Beach Wine & Food Festival that went beyond a traditional festival booth, instead creating a hands-on, taste-forward experience that left people feeling connected with VTB’s culinary offerings. Our team set up multiple touchpoints where festival-goers could experience Visit Tampa Bay and connect with the people and flavors that make the city special. The team also created multiple opportunities for guests to engage with Visit Tampa Bay online through QR codes and giveaways to enable retargeting and extend value beyond the event, turning real-time engagement into a measurable pipeline of future visitation.

Experiential marketing events are an invaluable tool for engaging audiences in a way that better drives memory, emotional connection, and action. With audiences more overwhelmed than ever with a barrage of daily ads, it’s vital for a brand to not only stand out from the crowd, but build familiarity and belief in their product that will move people from awareness to action.
